Assets Manager

As an Assets Manager, you’ll oversee the flow of goods, materials, and licenses that keep our operations running smoothly. From procurement and vendor management to shipping, receiving, and inventory control, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring service orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
This position requires a proactive, solution-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.
You’ll work closely with vendors, service teams, and your direct reports to streamline processes, track assets, and introduce better systems for monitoring and reporting. With responsibilities spanning procurement, inventory management, and people leadership, your work directly impacts the efficiency and success of our business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily shipping, receiving, procurement, and inventory activities.
- Manage service orders (SOs) from start to finish, ensuring purchase orders (POs) are accurate and fulfilled on time.
- Coordinate vendor relationships, including ordering licenses (e.g., CSK, Focus), tracking deliveries, and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records through CRM software (TigerPaw), tracking inventory movement, procurement steps, and fulfillment status.
- Lead, train, and support direct reports, ensuring tasks are completed independently but accurately.
- Conduct physical inventory counts and work toward building systematic, reliable inventory processes.
- Manage one direct report, providing guidance, training, and performance oversight
- Troubleshoot issues in real time, reprioritizing as needed to meet business needs.
- Develop and implement metrics to measure productivity, accuracy, and inventory control.
- Collaborate across service, sales, and operations teams to keep workflows on track.
- Identify process gaps, propose solutions, and implement improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, and inventory management (required). - Experience in shipping & receiving operations, with knowledge of how to manage orders from multiple vendors.
- Familiarity with CRM or inventory management systems (TigerPaw preferred).
- Ability to manage operations handling under 100 outgoing packages per day, ranging from simple to highly complex orders.
- Proven leadership experience, including training and supporting direct reports.
- Physical ability to perform shipping and receiving duties when needed.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow directions precisely, and capacity to absorb large amounts of information quickly.
