Outside Sales Representative (POS Solutions)

This role is critical in expanding our footprint through the strategic delivery of industry-leading Point of Sale (POS) solutions.
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be our face in the field, identifying opportunities to help merchants modernize their operations. You will manage the full sales lifecycle, from initial prospecting and consultative demonstrations to closing and post-sale handoffs. This role requires a "hunter" mentality balanced with the professional polish needed to represent our brands. Your success will depend on your ability to master complex software ecosystems, think strategically about a merchant's needs, and maintain a high-activity pipeline in a competitive, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Drive Revenue: Identify and close new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
POS Expertise: Conduct in-depth consultations to demonstrate the value of Square and NX hardware and software.
Pipeline Management: Maintain an accurate and active sales funnel within our CRM.
Strategic Prospecting: Execute a consistent "feet on the street" approach combined with digital outreach.
Consultative Closing: Navigate complex sales cycles, ensuring hardware, software, and processing rates are aligned with client goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with our internal technical teams to ensure a seamless transition from "sold" to "installed."
Market Awareness: Stay updated on POS trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications
Proven track record in Outside Sales (B2B or Merchant Services experience is strongly preferred).
Familiarity with Square, NX, or similar cloud-based POS platforms preferred.
Experience managing a territory and maintaining high activity levels (calls, visits, and demos).
Technically savvy; comfortable presenting software solutions on tablets and mobile devices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
